No. We curate for the idea first. If your idea is worth spreading, we'll help you shape the talk.

Most talks are between 5 and 18 minutes. The format is tight by design — every word earns its place.

TEDx Beverly Hills is an independent event operated under license from TED. The "x" means it's independently organized.

Ticketing details are announced with the lineup. We work to keep the room accessible to a genuinely curious audience.

Application deadlines follow our seasonal cycles. The current cycle's close date appears on the Apply page — next to the Apply button when a season is open. If applications are closed, join the newsletter to be notified when the next cycle opens.

A short, unedited video — up to two minutes. Introduce yourself, state your one-sentence idea, and tell us why you are the person to give this talk. No slides, no production value needed; we are listening for the idea and your voice, not the editing.

Our curators review every application through a blind scoring process. If your idea advances, we will invite a conversation, then coaching and rehearsal. You will hear from us either way.

TEDx Beverly Hills is a locally produced event and does not provide travel, lodging, or flights. Out-of-area speakers are welcome to apply with the understanding that transportation and accommodations are self-arranged.

Yes. A new application cycle is a fresh opportunity. We welcome returning applicants — a previous submission does not count against you.
